Part of being informed about making that choice is listening to both sides in a debate such as this. For me the choice is very clear. Nick Popaditch will represent my views very well. I have written Mr. Filner several times in the last few months and years to express my thoughts on various issues, and I have not recieved any response from him that would indicate that he understands or agrees with my viewpoint or that he would even consider it. It is time for a change in the representation of this district. Nick Popaditch is the right man for the job. We are fortunate to live in a country where we can have a choice in whom we elect to represent us in our government. For me the choice is very clear. Nick Popaditch will represent my views very well. I have met a few congressmen in my time, and all of them have been worthy of respect, regardless of party. After all, they represent the people of this great nation that is ruled by "We the people". After sitting there, three rows out in front of Bob Filner, I now know that there is indeed some real slime in Washington. Never before have I seen so much disrespect for the people of a congressman's own district! This man thinks that he is untouchable, and that we are unworthy and uneducated. If his comments and actions (like the eye rolling) had not made me so angry, it would have made me sick! Well Mr. Filner, I certainly am educated enough to find my way over two hours from your congressional office in Chula Vista to your hidden venue for a debate in Imperial. I am also educated enough to find a post office and register to vote. And THANK GOD I am educated enough to fill in the bubble on my ballot next to the name of Nick Popaditch! Mr. Filner, I certainly hope that the author of this blog is correct, because on November 3rd you need to hear that you are FIRED! And if for some reason the much larger numbers of people in Chula Vista have not seen the video of this debate, and you manage to get re-elected, I hope that the good people of the Imperial Valley see to it that a recall petition is started. Mr Filner, you have no business representing the good people of the Imperial Valley, or for that matter, any freedom loving American! Now we have to figure out what to do about the Governor of California. Since Meg has done a complete reverse on her stance on illegal immigration, in my view we are totally without a good candidate!
